BabyNes Machine Warranty

1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WYETH BABYNES MACHINE AND SPARE PARTS

a. The Wyeth BabyNes machine (“the machine”) is covered by a two-year warranty by Wyeth (Hong Kong) Holding Company Limited or any of its affiliated companies (“Wyeth Nutrition”).
b. For the warranty to be valid, the user must enter and register the machine’s serial number into his/her MyBabyNes account.
c. During the two-year warranty period, Wyeth Nutrition agrees to replace any defective machines. The defective machine must be returned to Wyeth Nutrition when a replacement is made.
d. During the two-year warranty period, Wyeth Nutrition agrees to replace any defective spare part(s). The defective spare part(s) must be returned to Wyeth Nutrition when a replacement is made.
e. Most of the spare parts are not on general sale and can only be obtained from Wyeth Nutrition as part of the warranty pledge.
f. Should a machine or spare part be returned and replaced with a new one, the warranty will only apply to the unexpired portion of the original warranty or will be valid for three months whichever period is greater.
g. In case of any dispute, Wyeth Nutrition has the right to final decision.

2. MACHINE REPLACEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD

If the machine is found to be defective i.e. it does not function correctly, is cracked or breaks down, Wyeth Nutrition agrees to replace the defective machine, which must be returned to Wyeth Nutrition when the replacement is made. Examples of machine defects covered by the warranty:
a. It is not possible to turn the machine on or off even when it is plugged into the power supply.
b. The indicator light does not register ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ when the switch is in the ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ position or if the wrong capsule has been inserted.
c. The machine does not recognise the capsule.
d. The water temperature is too hot or too cold i.e. not in the 25-40°C range.
e. After pressing the start button, no water or dissolved milk flows out from the machine.
f. The Wi-Fi system does not work despite being set up correctly.

3. SPARE PARTS REPLACEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD

If the machine is working but the user has noticed a defective spare part or has lost a part, the said parts can be exchanged free of charge. A replacement will be made when the defective part(s) are returned, except for cases where the part(s) are lost.

Spare parts covered by the warranty include:
• Cleaning tool
• Capsule holder
• Bottle holder
• Anti-slip pad
• Cap for water container
• Water container 
• Capsule opener
• Power cord

Consumers will be contacted by our customer care consultants on a quarterly basis to see whether they require any replacement spare parts during the warranty period. Consumers may also contact us to request a replacement spare part, however, in this case, the warranty period will not be extended.
